C4B General Assembly Brings Partners and Stakeholders Together in Barcelona

On 4–5 June 2026, the C4B consortium met in Barcelona for its Month 30 General Assembly, hosted by LEITAT at DFactory. The two-day meeting brought together project partners and stakeholders to review progress, discuss key achievements, and prepare for the final phase of the project.

The first day focused on technical and strategic developments across the project. Partners reviewed the latest work on sustainability impact assessment, business model development, and the implementation of the multi-actor approach. A key highlight of the day was the Sustainability Indicator Workshop, led by LEITAT and organised with the participation of members of the C4B Stakeholder Panel.

The workshop provided a valuable opportunity for dialogue between project partners and stakeholders, fostering the exchange of perspectives on sustainability assessment and supporting the validation of the project’s sustainability indicators. The discussions contributed to strengthening the robustness and practical relevance of the methodologies being developed within C4B.

Beyond the workshop, partners shared updates on ongoing activities and discussed progress towards developing fair, replicable and scalable bio-based business models capable of supporting the transition to a more sustainable European bioeconomy.

The second day focused on maximising the long-term impact of C4B results. Partners discussed the C4B Open Call and the opportunities it offers to demonstrate the scalability and replication potential of the project’s business models. The consortium also reviewed communication, dissemination, exploitation and replication activities, ensuring that project outcomes reach relevant stakeholders and continue generating value beyond the project’s duration.

An exploitation workshop delivered by PNO Innovation Spain , allowed partners to discuss Key Exploitable Results (KERs) and update the project’s exploitation roadmap, identifying pathways to maximise uptake and future use of C4B outcomes. The meeting concluded with a project management session reviewing progress, upcoming milestones and priorities for the months ahead.

C4b- M30 – General Assembly represented an important milestone for the consortium. The meeting reinforced collaboration among partners, strengthened stakeholder engagement, and helped align efforts towards delivering impactful results for sustainable and circular bio-based value chains across Europe.

The consortium would like to thank LEITAT for hosting the meeting and all partners and stakeholders for their active participation and valuable contributions throughout the two days.
