C4B at Agrotica 2026: Advancing Collaboration in the Agri-Food Sector

C4B, represented by its partner CluBE – the Cluster of Bioeconomy and Environment of Western Macedonia, participated in Agrotica 2026, one of the largest agricultural exhibitions in Southeast Europe. The event took place from 12–15 March at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition & Congress Center.

As the leading sectoral exhibition in Greece’s agro-economic domain, Agrotica brings together farmers, agri-food businesses, researchers, and technology providers. It serves as a key platform for showcasing innovations in agricultural machinery, smart farming technologies, sustainable practices, and agri-food value chains.

During the exhibition, CluBE engaged with a wide range of stakeholders across the agri-food ecosystem, fostering dialogue and exchanging insights on current challenges and emerging opportunities. Discussions addressed topics such as resource efficiency, waste valorisation, and the transition towards more sustainable and circular production models.

In partner Clube´s words:

“Agrotica showed that there is strong interest in innovation and sustainability in agriculture, but primary producers are still not fully involved in circular bio-based value chains. Our discussions there confirmed that fairer business models are needed, so that farmers can benefit more equally from the value created”.

Participation in Agrotica highlights the importance of collaboration and innovation in strengthening a resilient and sustainable primary sector—core objectives shared by both CluBE and the C4B project.
