FAQ

A: Selected experts will be provided with detailed evaluation guidelines and an Evaluation Summary Report (ESR) template. We strongly recommend thoroughly reviewing the C4B Open Call for Pilot Projects document to familiarize yourself with the call objectives, requirements, and award criteria.

No. While each expert initially conducts an independent individual evaluation, the three assigned experts must collaborate to produce a single, unified ESR summarizing the final consensus scores and comments.

No. Experts are required to manage and arrange the consensus phase independently. This includes contacting fellow evaluators, exchanging emails, or scheduling brief online meetings to finalize and submit the unified ESR by the set deadline.

Remuneration is strictly calculated on a per-proposal basis at a flat unit cost of €90.00 per completed evaluation (individual phase + consensus). For example, if you are assigned 3 proposals, the payment will be €270.00; if you are assigned 10 proposals, it will be €900.00.

If you cannot reach a consensus due to a significant discrepancy (specifically, a difference of more than 15 points between the highest and lowest scores), you must notify the C4B Open Call Management Team at c4bopencall@apre.it. In such cases, the team will step in to organize and mediate a formal consensus meeting to help agree on the final score and complete the ESR. Please note that if at least two experts have scored the proposal below the threshold, a consensus is not required, and the final score will be calculated as the average of the individual scores.

The unified ESR must be submitted via email to c4bopencall@apre.it. To streamline the process, a single copy of the final report should be sent by the designated rapporteur (or one chosen expert from your group) on behalf of all three evaluators before the October 31, 2026 deadline.
