C4B Showcased at APRE’s AperiBio Networking Event
On May 20th, the C4B project was proudly presented at AperiBio, a networking event organised by APRE – Agenzia per la Promozione della Ricerca Europea , in collaboration with the University of Rome Unitelma Sapienza and the European Commission Representation in Italy.
Held in the heart of Rome at Spazio Europa, AperiBio was designed to foster dialogue and collaboration on the theme of bioeconomy. The event brought together researchers, institutions, and project leaders to explore opportunities for innovation and future partnerships.
AperiBio was part of the official programme of the National Bioeconomy Day (May 19–23), promoted and coordinated by the SPRING Cluster. Open exclusively to APRE members, the event featured two key moments:
- A plenary session providing insights into the state of bioeconomy in Italy and Europe, offering updates on trends, challenges, and policy directions;
- An interactive networking session dedicated to European projects. Attendees were invited to explore a selection of initiatives through informative posters and direct dialogue with project coordinators.
The C4B project was among the featured initiatives, offering a valuable opportunity to showcase the progress made so far and engage in one-on-one conversations with stakeholders interested in sustainability and circular bioeconomy models. The informal and dynamic setting sparked ideas for potential collaborations and synergies with other EU projects.
C4B’s participation contributed to strengthening its visibility within Italy’s bioeconomy landscape and reaffirmed the project’s commitment to fostering innovation through multi-actor engagement.
Stay tuned as C4B continues to build bridges across Europe’s bioeconomy community!
